Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic financial leadership and oversee all finance and accounting operations.
- Lead budgeting, financial planning, forecasting, and preparation of financial reports.
- Manage cash flow and working capital to support smooth operations and institutional growth.
- Ensure timely preparation of statutory and regulatory reports and compliance with financial regulations.
- Oversee payroll administration, bank reconciliations, accounts receivable, and financial record management.
- Supervise payments to suppliers, maintenance of payment records, and preparation of member refunds.
- Ensure accurate postings, journals, account reconciliations, and updating of members’ accounts.
- Provide timely financial analysis and management reports to support strategic decision-making.
- Strengthen internal controls, accountability, and financial risk management.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or related field.
- CPA(K)/ACCA qualification.
- Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience, preferably in a Sacco or financial institution.
- Strong leadership, analytical, strategic planning, and financial management skills.
