A normal day looks like:

Develop, customize and support OnBase solutions to deliver critical business functions, meeting project objectives, and company goals.
Analyze requirements to ensure information is complete and determine complexity. Ideally use out-of-the-box functionality – determine what different design options exist and highlight any compromises.
Serve as an active contributor on an Agile Scrum team, participating in sprint planning, refinement, estimation, reviews, and retrospectives.
Collaborate with other technology teams to facilitate interfaces between OnBase and other systems.
Ensure that solutions adhere to OnBase and Cigna best practices and leverage standard functionality where possible.
Ensure developed solutions are written to be maintainable, scalable, testable and deployable and adhere to security standards.
Provide technical input into design decisions, proactively identifying risks and improvement opportunities early in the development lifecycle.
Participate in peer code reviews to ensure code quality, compliance with standards, and alignment with best practices.
Maintain comprehensive documentation for existing and new development, including technical designs, configurations, and support processes.

Ideally, you’ll have experience with:

Proven experience of 5+ years in a role within software development with a strong technical focus on C# and .NET Framework/.NET Core.
Hands-on experience with SQL Server, including T-SQL, stored procedures, query optimization and database design.
Experience building and maintaining API-based integrations and REST/SOAP services
You are eager to work on bespoke .NET components, as well as customize and configure imaging & workflow vendor platforms (OnBase).
Prior experience working in an Agile development environment with knowledge of agile methodologies (such as SAFe).
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Prior experience in the health insurance domain is highly desirable.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
