KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with the processing and management of invoices.
- Ensure timely and accurate payments to vendors and suppliers.
- Monitor outstanding accounts and follow up with clients to ensure payments are received.
- Maintain accurate financial records in the accounting system.
- Record financial transactions, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Assist with bank reconciliations and other financial reporting tasks.
- Support in preparing financial statements and reports for management.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Prepare ad-hoc reports as required by management or senior finance team members.
- Help monitor budget performance and assist in financial forecasting.
- Track and report variances in actual spending versus budgeted amounts.
- Ensure financial processes comply with company policies and legal regulations.
- Assist in audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.
- Provide administrative support to the finance team as needed.
- Assist in organizing meetings and managing financial documentation.
Requirements
- A degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred but not required).
- Previous experience in a finance or accounting role is a plus.
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial recordkeeping.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles.
- Reliable, proactive, and adaptable to change.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow in the role.
