Assistant Quantity Surveyor Full Time NEW

Key Responsibilities

They are looking for a reliable Assistant Quantity Surveyor to prepare as-built quantities, schedule materials, prepare built rates, and keep construction records and data

Specific Duties:

• Measurement of New Works
• Re-measurement of ongoing works
• Preparation of As-Built Quantities
• Preparation of schedule of materials
• Preparation of weekly site reports
• Data analysis of site material usage Vis a Vis BQ quantities/Budget
• Preparation of Built up rates
• Works supervision
• Ensure complete and proper documentation of all on-going and completed projects
• Project supervising, cost analysis & reporting on building and overall construction costs
• Participating in planning and analysis for construction projects
• Undertaking valuations of variations arising from site instructions and/or revision of designs and specifications

Person Specifications

1. Academic Qualifications

• Bachelor of Quantity Survey

2. Experience

• At least 1 year experience as a QS working for a contractor or consultant

3. Skills and Attributes

• Competent in conflict and crisis management
• Leadership and human resources management skills;
• Excellent time and project management skills;
• Expert knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards.
