Job Description
Duration:
- 3 Months
Stipend:
- Ksh 20,000 per month
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-line application support and troubleshoot user issues.
- Assist in software implementation, configuration, and deployment.
- Support the development and maintenance of applications using the Yii PHP Framework.
- Assist in developing and maintaining BIRT Reports.
- Write and optimize SQL queries and support database management activities.
- Participate in software testing, debugging, documentation, and application maintenance.
- Support application deployments and maintenance in Linux environments.
Qualifications & Technical Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- At least one (1) year of practical exposure in application development, implementation, or technical support through internships, industrial attachment, academic projects, freelance work, or employment.
- Working knowledge of Yii Framework (PHP), PHP, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, and CSS.
- Basic understanding of PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle databases.
- Exposure to developing or maintaining BIRT Reports is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with Git and Linux environments.
