Job Description
Job Summary
- Pearl Hospital is a Level 4 multi-specialty hospital in Laikipia County. Guided by our values of Quality, Efficiency, Professionalism, and Compassion, we seek a Pharmaceutical Technologist to provide safe, efficient, patient-centered pharmaceutical services by dispensing medicines accurately, maintaining accurate medication records and stock levels, supporting patient counselling, and ensuring compliance with professional and hospital standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Requisition drugs and other related commodities.
- Store drugs and health-related commodities.
- Dispensing medicines and related commodities.
- Ensuring economic use of equipment and supplies.
- Any other duty as may be assigned from time to time.
Minimum Qualifications
- Diploma in Pharmaceutical Technology from a recognized institution
- Must be registered with the Pharmacy and Poisons Board
- Valid practicing license.
- At least 1-2 years of relevant experience.
- Good computer skills, particularly in electronic pharmacy/hospital management systems.
