Job Description

Job Purpose

  • A reach stacker operator is a very key person in container/package handling in Yard operations. He ensures that the machine is working within SWL and coordinates with clerks, ensuring safety while handling containers or packages.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspecting the machine before starting day-to-day activity through a checklist.
  • Stacking and unstacking containers in allocated storage area in blocks.
  • Delivery/loading of containers to respective assigned trucks.
  • Placing containers at customs verification area.
  • Offloading and loading Out of Gauge container & packages using slings

Qualifications and Experience

  • O-level or equivalent
  • Certificate in Plant Operations
  • Valid, relevant driving license
  • Basic knowledge of mechanics
  • 3 Years’ Experience
