About the Role
As a Junior Salesforce Developer, you will:
- Build and configure Salesforce/Clariti solutions, working with cross-functional teams to gather and understand business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions within the Salesforce platform.
- Design, develop, and implement customized solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and other Salesforce technologies under the guidance of senior developers.
- Translate user stories and configuration specifications into working Salesforce features, ensuring solutions align with client business needs
- Use JIRA to track tickets, manage workflows, and collaborate with consultants, QA, and senior developers in alignment with Agile methodology
- Write Apex unit tests and participate in code reviews, deployments, and bug fixes across sandbox and production environments
- Stay current with Salesforce updates, trends, and emerging technologies, identifying opportunities for innovation.
About You
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I and/or Platform Developer II are a strong plus.
- 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience with Salesforce development, including exposure to Apex, SOQL, Lightning Web Components, and declarative tools (Flows, Process Builder). Internship, Trailhead, or personal project experience.
- Familiarity with Clariti Solutions or other Salesforce industry cloud products is highly desirable.
- Understanding of software development best practices, including version control (Git), Salesforce DevOps and release management (e.g., Gearset), automated testing, code reviews, and clear documentation.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to dissect complex issues and provide effective solutions.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in an agile environment.
- Public sector experience with a focus on permitting, planning, licensing, and code enforcement is an added advantage.
