Job Description

Position Summary

  • The Sales & Marketing Coordinator is responsible for managing B2B relationships, agent communications, and trade marketing activities for The Sand Kenya.
  • The role focuses on building and maintaining strong relationships with agents and partners, supporting sales growth through consistent follow-up, and coordinating trade and marketing activities such as fam trips, trade shows, and guest communications. The role is also responsible for selected administrative coordination tasks supporting staff logistics.

Key Responsibilities
B2B Sales & Agent Relations

  • Manage communication and follow-up with travel agents, partners, and B2B clients.
  • Conduct regular sales calls and maintain strong agent relationships.
  • Support rate and product communication to trade partners.
  • Assist in maintaining updated agent databases and contact records.

Trade Marketing & Events

  • Coordinate fam trips, site visits, and hosted experiences.
  • Prepare and coordinate logistics for trade shows and industry events.
  • Ensure smooth execution of all trade-related marketing activities.
  • Liaise with operations teams to ensure guest experience during hosted visits.

Marketing Support

  • Assist with email marketing campaigns and newsletters.
  • Support distribution of offers, updates, and seasonal promotions to trade partners.
  • Maintain consistent brand messaging across communications.

Coordination & Administrative Support

  • Support general administrative coordination related to staff movements and arrivals including flight bookings, travel arrangements, and visas.
  • Maintain organised records for travel and administrative documentation.

Cross-Department Liaison

  • Coordinate closely with Reservations, Front Office, and Operations teams.
  • Ensure alignment between sales activity and operational capacity.
