Portfolio Manager Full Time NEW

• Undergraduate degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Commerce, Economics or Finance
• Registered and practicing member of the Institute of Certified Investment & Financial Analysts (ICIFA)
• Candidate in the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) program or CFA charter holder
• At least five (5) years’ experience in Portfolio Management, Dealing or Research

• Reporting to the CIO, the Portfolio Manager is responsible for assisting in formulation of house view, investing clients’ funds while adhering to all compliance measures and maintaining proper client relations

Roles

• Invest funds appropriately in line with the house view and client investment guidelines and participate in research and analysis of the various investment opportunities
• Attend Board of Trustee meetings and Annual General meetings to report back on performance of the schemes under management
• Maintain and build Client relationship with existing and prospective clients
• Assist Business Development team with client leads/information
• Training of Trustees and members on investment matters. Also attend investor briefings for information or knowledge purposes
• Assist in formulation of IPSs for clients
