2023 年 1 月のパリメンズファッションウィークのランウェイで発表された「JUNYA WATANABE MAN × New Balance 650」が登場。 1989 年に発表された、衝撃吸収性とクッション性を特徴としたニューバランスのバスケットボール競技用シューズ PRIDE 650を復刻、JUNYA MAN バージョンにアップデートした新作は、 一貫して黒の様々なパーツや素材の集合体で表現されたJUNYA MAN FW23 コレクションに合わせて、フット ウェアの各パーツを様々な異なる黒の素材でパッチワークのように仕立てたデザイン。クラシックなハイカットのバスケット ボールシューズを洗練されたモードに昇華した 2 カラーの展開は、ブラック × ファントムをメッシュ / スムースレザー / エンボス レザーで、またブラック × ホワイトをスエード / エンボスレザー / シンセティックレザーの異素材コンビネーションで仕上げ ました。シュータンラベルとインソールにダブルネームのロゴが入ります。
